so it's official, i have a new job. my mom's dream has come true and she has opened her first assisted living home. she had mentioned in passing that she would love to have family working for her but i never thought much of it. but low and behold she called and what first started off as an offer to work part time for extra money turned into an amazing offer to start fresh. i will be leaving wal mart my home for the past 3 years...wow how time flies!!! but i will have great memories. at this new position i will be able to care for 5 elderly friends who have different stages of alzheimers and other medical conditions. just like we were roommates ! i will be there to care for them along side a certified caregiver of course. it's an amazing opportunity and i can't say enough about it, seriously, just ask me!!!
more to come, but for now just remember:
the best part of waking up is NOT Folger's in your cup, but knowing that Chuck Norris did'nt kill you in your sleep.

Congratulations! I take it you are a bit excited. Just a hunch. You weren't very clear about your feelings on the matter.
Anyway, good luck and enjoy the newfound employment.
WOOOHOOOO!
So, can I move into this place or is it only for those in the upper age ranges? I wish they had assisted living for us younger folks who seem to have trouble keeping it all together but do not have the age to go with it.
Very cool! You have a huge heart and will be a blessing to those folks. I'm excited for you!
Christopher! Outstanding! But wait...isn't this place in Kzoo?
