new bands and old friends

1st off, if you're reading this....welcome back randi

monday was a great day. marie, elizabeth and i went to the Intersection to check out Vedera

and MuteMath

and we were not disappointed. liz had limited prior exposure to both bands but from all accounts she had a great time. vedera is a great band with an amazing 1st major album. check them out and listen to the honesty, you might even hear yourself in some of the songs. mutemath is just simply amazing! on cd they are great but it pales in comparision to their live show. the closest analogy i can come up with is this,
you can see a pic of the grand canyon and take people's word that it is freakin' huge, but (and i can speak this from experience) when you get there, you get to see that it is more than just a really big hole.

thats how i feel about mutemath. one of the very few bands that you could have never ever heard of at all, and you would still be very entertained at their show. check them out and support these bands, it will help you get into heaven ;-)

so thursday (2/16) is my last day at walmart before i go into the family business. i dont know how i am supposed to feel about leaving but i'm pretty damn relieved to be doing so!!! i will be affecting several friendships from work by my departure but i believe that people are brought into your life for certain times and lessons and i hope i made those times and lessons positive ones.

well, i'll fill ya in as the days go by, for now i have to get some rest, busy week, especially with the mikrut-russell merger taking place this saturday...and if i spelled russell wrong ...oh well, i only have to worry about it for 3 more days anyway!

Live with Love,
mr. chris

Hi, Chris,
I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, but wanted to leave a comment. I am going to try to leave one on rie's blog, too. Let me know if this comes throught. Thanks. I enjoyed the review of the bands - - I will have to check them out.
Love you - - mom :)
