i looked and looked and couldn't find the original that inspired this. but if you look at the cake you will see two photos. the upper right wsa from our honeymoon at Universal Studios. there have been jokes that the biggest smile i had on my face the whole week of our wedding/honeymoon was when we were in line for the Spiderman ride and this employee dressed up as Spidey was taking pics with the patrons. yes i realize that "Spidey" was probably a zit faced scrawny teen in a cheap rental suit but i didn't give a damn.
the second picture on the cake was from my 3rd birthday party when i had a Spiderman ice cream cake, Spiderman b-day hats , Spiderman everything, and seeing as how i never grew out of that Spiderman thing, the last few years on my birthday, my mom would send me a copy of one of the pictures from that birthday party.
the party in this picture here was funny because i was turning....27 i believe? and all my gifts were Spidey coloring books, toys, web shooters....i loved it!!
who says you have to grow up?!
(other than my wife, my mom, my bosses, strangers and especially that nazi at Chuck E. Cheese that said i couldn't fit into the ball pit)
but anyway, i just wanted to take this forum to say happy birthday to the sweetest son of a bitch ( no offense mom) that i know, so, me, i hope you have a great birthday. i can't believe it's been almost 20 years since we first met, you were just turning 11, i was 12. you were the best friend i had growing up and i am so proud of the man that you have grown to become. i love you, i mean me.
