so a couple months ago, my friend dwight asked me if i wanted to go to Ann Arbor to watch the University of Michigan play their first football game of the year against Appalachian State. i kindly said no thank you. and in hindsight i still stand by that decision. i mean i know the big house is famous and one of those places that it's great to say you've been to, but i've already been there. so why would i want to go see a team that i don't care for play a team i've barely heard of, in a place i've already been to?
but the bottom line, whether i was there for it or not, history happened in Ann Arbor today, michigan became the first ranked division 1A team to ever lose to a division 1-AA team.
hey, i'm a notre dame fan and this year i don't have high expectations, it's a maturing year, but now, notre dame's record doesn't matter to me because of this score:

I have been to the Big House exactly once myself, and that was for my cousin's graduation from UM...which may or may not have been as exciting as that game you mentioned!
