don lafontaine has passed away, and whether you think you know who that is or not, your life will never be the same.
don was the voice behind thousands and thousands of movie trailers, most recently he was in a geico commercial where he poked fun at himself, starting the commercial with his catch phrase intro of "in a world where....."
thanks for all the excitement that your voice single handedly brought to movies that i otherwise would have had no interest in watching, you will be missed.

I saw an "in memoriam" screenshot at the end of a movie on TV last night and didn't realize who it was. You're right, life never WILL be the same! If you've seen The Holiday, he (his voice, rather) also has a cameo in that during Cameron Diaz's work-obsessed dreams.
