the inlaws came down and we went to lunch with them and got to visit at our apartment for a while. my sister (in law)'s birthday is the 18th so they wanted to come down and celebrate when they could.
i hate all the stereotypes that in-laws are a pain. how stupid. i get excited when i know we get to spend time with them, i love it! great people indeed. i was fortunate to have married into such a wonderful family.
so this top pic is one of my wife that melts my heart. it is the rie that everyone knows, it shows her in such a sweet innocent stage of life. (she's sylvester in case you were wondering)
now, the picture at the bottom is the sweet and wonderful rie that no one other than me is fortunate enough to see.
i love my girl.
hey by the way, i have been fighting a HUGE urge to put up christmas lights....is that bad? every year about the 2nd week of november it starts. i usually try to rationalize it.
"well, i'll just get the lights out for the outside before the weather gets bad"
yeah right!!! ....then it becomes
"well, as long as i have the lights out.........."
anyone else suffer from this or am i alone?

Well, why not? The malls in Grand Rapids have been decorated for Christmas since September. I'd say you're a bit behind!
I hate putting up christmas lights. I know... but you love me so I am safe saying such a horrendous outloud. It is not so much the hanging of the lights that bothers me so... but the nagging thought "I will have to spend a day taking these down in a few weeks... like I don't have enough to do that now I am creating work for myself!". So how about this..you put up the lights... and I'll bake the little candycane shaped cookies to bring over.
trase, you have got yourself a deal!!!
