What's "funny" is, when you're tempted to do this because of something your kids did, it's REALLY hard not to laugh. They will usually be in such "cute" predicaments, or they will have said something so fun, that it's torture not to laugh - - - BUT, you shouldn't. :) What you will get to do, is tell stories about later, out of their hearing. ;)
wait, i see nothing wrong with doing that to your kid. I became the normal, loveable, fully adjusted human being i am today because of constant torment of this ilk by my father. I can think of no better gift for a child than that of absolute terror followed by the sight of his parents rolling on the ground laughing at his expense.
I am out of touch with what is happening in the cyberworld. I thought your comment about "ever laugh when you really shouldn't" was what you were saying you weren't supposed to to do your child (laughing at him). I talked with Rie, and she explained that I had to click on the "this" to see what you were talking about. She told me what that was. Not good. I may be old fashioned, but I've never thought it was good to scare (or torture) my children (or any children). Maybe it's just me.
crash. in a wrinkle of steel we are gone. will my last breath be a yawn? watching them sorting debris. this is not my cup of tea. -b.v.a.
This is why the headache didn't go away, it's actually pronounced 'annalgesic', not 'ANALgesic'. The pills go in your mouth.-turk (scrubs)
"Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony." -Dennis, Monty Python

Yep, I'm going to hell.
I'm too much of a mom...
... and an sissy with way too much empathy....
.... that would break my heart if it was my kid.

Horrible. Made us both want to cry and shake our fists against the world.
