ahhhh friends it's coming

so something about the last couple of days has me very excited. i just had one of those days where it was just, just warm enough to have the sunroof cracked on the ride home and i pulled up a collection of my favorite summertime tracks on my ipod Nano (his christian name is Logos) and it just felt like a teasing sampler of summer.

i came home and dug out the tennis rackets and golf clubs. i don't know where i thought i was going with them but it felt good to look at them. before i knew it i was trying to pack up the winter clothes and then it started to snow. thanks for the reminder!

but isn't that just such a great feeling when we get to the warmth of the sun and the joy of summer. leaving windows open at night, driving with the top down or off completely for you Jeepsters (see: rie, lisa & tasha) cookouts, swimming, walks, sports, not needing an excuse to drive somewhere. i say bring it on. i love white christmases as anyone who knows me well can attest to but LET"S GO!!!! kick winter in the ass and let's have some outdoor fun already.

it's time for a great big summertime Lake Michigan wave to bust the shore and take out that snow, sludge, mud snowman that has been struggling to stay up.

i'm ready. anyone else with me?

oh and by the way in some unrelated news......that has GOT to hurt!

Yeah! Bring on the warm weather! I too have a collection of what I like to call spring rock and there are few things I enjoy then cruising around with the window down and the music cranked.

As for the picture: Holy Crap! It looks like someone replaced his ocular cavity with a chocolate eclair.

It is so near!
Although, I will get 3 weeks of summer very soon... in 9 days. and then, when I come back... it will be spring for real!

Jeeps jeeps jeeps!!!! In fact, I think today would be a great day to ride home with the top down, heat cranked, and music volume on 20. It shall be done.
